Who is Mom On A Spiritual Journey

Spiritual Journey

This is me watching the sunset in Emsworth Harbor, UK

My name is Sarah Lawrence Hinson. I started my spiritual journey about 16 years ago.

Over time as a result of following this spiritual journey, I found that my entire life changed, including planetary location, partner, future career path - and I became a mother!

During this time (and continuing onwards) I’ve discovered that steps as a mom on a spiritual journey can be about anything from life lessons through to simply learning to take care of oneself.

The reasons for creating the Mom On A Spiritual Journey blog

As an individual who found myself working in business development and technology training I was always interested in how we ‘tick’ and how best to manage our energy and focus our minds.

Over time and with study and personal development I became a practitioner learning alternative therapies such as reflexology and a form of energy work called the EMF Balancing Technique®.

If you want to know more about the professional side of things, here’s my about me page.

And during that process I became a parent, a Mom On A Spiritual Journey

And found myself overwhelmed, tired and struggling to cope with an active, energy sensitive toddler and a newborn.

It took me a while to remember all the tools I had learned, to apply them and then continue on with my spiritual journey…but it’s working… (most of the time!) :-)

Now how to help other Moms on their spiritual journeys, and Dads, Carers and families too?

I decided to start this blog to share some of the very practical tools I’m finding useful on this spiritual journey, and to engage in open conversations and discussions with other moms, dads, parents and carers who find themselves on a similar spiritual journey.

I have always wondered why I was ’drawn’ to attend so many workshops, learn so many modalities related to vibrational medicine and the spiritual path

When my mother Margaret Elizabeth Hubbard (nee Lawrence) passed away last year the message became more clear.

You can read her tribute here and more about the story of her passing here.

When my mum was really sick and spending time at a hospice, she told me to ‘continue my work’.  She predicted that in 90 years time people would no longer die of ‘her kind of illness’ and that work such as mine would contribute to the outcome.

I’m taking her words to heart…hence the blog.

The Mom On A Spiritual Journey blog is dedicated to my mum in the energy of celebrating a life well lived – and with the intention of learning and sharing more about the spiritual journey and alternative health and wellness

Welcome to this site, I’m so happy that you’re here!

Please feel free to click through the pages above, comment on the site and request discussion on a subject if you would like.

I have gathered together a number of personal development tools and wellness approaches which I am practically applying, and would enjoy interaction with other spiritual journeyers and wellness seekers who are interested in working with these useful tools, or who are willing to share insights and useful tools of their own.
